The Green Party of Ontario (GPO) was officially registered in 1983. In the last provincial elections, held on 10 October 2007, the GPO received 8% of the vote. (Source Green Party of Ontario website).
The flag of GPO is in proportions 1:2, green with the party's emblem
in the middle. The emblem of GPO is based on the floral emblem of Ontario, the
trillium.
